SacTownPeople.com interviewed Staci Anderson about the radio and television industries, the voice over business and some of her interesting experiences throughout them all.
Staci Anderson is a native of Southern California and aspired to have a career in the entertainment business. She moved north
to attend college at the University of California at Davis, during which time she obtained her first radio job in Sacramento.
She achieved a degree in Communications and Political Science at UC Davis and continued to enjoy a successful
(and eventful) 16-year radio career.
Staci has performed on-air in all day parts and has also held radio management positions including Music Director, Imaging Director, Program Director and Operations Manager. She also played an integral role in creating commercials and promotions. Additionally, Staci has interviewed several high profile musicians including Gene Simmons and David Lee Roth and has been interviewed and featured herself in publications such as Sacramento Magazine and Sacramento Spotlight. In 2004, Staci was selected to be the statewide television host of "SuperLOTTO Plus" for the California State Lottery Commission, a position she held for nearly six years. She was seen on statewide television twice weekly. Additionally, Staci launched her own voice over business the following year.
In the summer of 2006, due to overwhelming demand, Staci focused more intently on her voice over business, successfully attaining work for clients including Volvo Penta, Kaiser Permanente, Walmart, Toshiba, Ericcson, Allure Magazine, The California Channel, the California State Lottery, Revlon, True Value, Lexus, The American Society of Landscape Architects and more. She is the voice of radio stations across the country and provides commercial, website and instructional audio as well as auto-attendant voicing for numerous businesses around the globe. Staci has also been hired as an announcer for various live events and enjoys making public appearances. She has landed several on-camera roles for television commercials and industrial videos and has voiced five audio books to date.
